Pipeline: August 2010

With the intention of ever refining SPAM’s quality, we are re-running the model country by country with new input data when available. Our strategy is to “Balance re-running SPAM 2000 with Building SPAM 2005.”

As of August 2010, Kenya 2005 subnational data is ready to be run with an anticipated release date by the end of August. We are currently processing subnational statistics for South Africa and anticipate a SPAM 2000 South Africa data set by mid-September. Next on the list is Zimbabwe. If you have have any subnational statistics to share (at a provincial or municipal level) please feel free to submit a comment.
